Shelby Olson is a dedicated and experienced Executive/Leadership Coach and Career Management Consultant passionate about enabling others to realize their personal and professional goals.
She has coached 10,000+ hours, working with 5000+ individuals across 100s of organizations and dozens of business sectors. Her clients come from all functional areas, ranging from the individual contributor to senior executive level, and those who desire to enhance their success within their current organization as well as those who wish to change their career and life direction. She possesses deep and broad insights of the organizational and strategic backdrops in which today's leaders operate, drawn from my earlier career in HR consulting. Additionally, she has conducted 1000+ hours of Group Strategy sessions, dozens of College Graduate Career Planning seminars, and 100s of hours of Personal Branding, Networking, Interviewing Strategies, Negotiating Strategies, Onboarding and dozens of other professional development seminars.
Shelby earned a MS in HR Mgmt from Rutgers University, Certification for Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, certified professional coach (PCC), and met requirements for the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She mentors students in the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certification Program, hosts small group coaching sessions quarterly for the DC Area ICF Chapter. She is on the President's Advisory Committee member for Augustana College, and frequent speaker for DC area professional groups including WashingtonExec, NOVA Business Executive Networking Group, PLEN and university groups.
