Seminar Registration

How to Register

PLEN uses Eventbrite for all of our seminars and events.  You can find the link to each seminar registration on each seminar page.  Once you find the seminar you wish to attend and click on the “Register Now” button, you’ll be brought to Eventbrite.  From this page, click “register.”

If you attend a PLEN member institution, you will click “Enter Promo Code” in the top right corner of the popup box and enter the code that your member representative provided for you.  If you do not attend a PLEN member institution, you will not enter any promotional code.

Please read the ticket descriptions carefully before you to best choose which one applies to you.  Please note that there is one ticket that only includes a seminar registration and two tickets that include hotel reservations.  Depending on the promotional code that is given to you, different tickets will become available.  Choose “1” in the dropdown menu next to the ticket that you select.

If you select a ticket that includes a housing option, PLEN will make a hotel reservation for you.  You do not need to contact the Kimpton Carlyle hotel to make a reservation.  If you select a ticket without the housing option, PLEN will assume that you have made other arrangements.

Once you choose your ticket, you will need to pay the remaining balance of your ticket (if applicable) either by credit/debit card, paypal, or invoice (PLEN will send you a bill after the seminar.)  You will also fill out personal, academic, and demographic information as well as your interest in public policy.

Cancellation Policy

If you register for a PLEN seminar and are no longer able to attend, you must cancel your registration by 11:59 pm of the day two weeks prior to the start date of the seminar you registered for.  If you cancel your registration by the two week date or prior, you will receive a full refund, except for the nonrefundable $125 registration fee.  If you need to cancel after the two week mark due to extenuating circumstances, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If we have any questions about your registration or remaining balance, we will contact you individually.
