Students who plan to pay by check or expect to receive funding from their school should select “pay by check” when completing the Event Wizard form. Students are strongly encouraged to pay online.

Colleges that use the old PLEN application as their form for students applying for a school scholarship can access it here.

Registration Fee

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $125.

Seminar Fee

$200 for Students from PLEN Member Institutions

$250 for Students from PLEN Associate Member Institutions

$450 for Students from Non-PLEN Schools

The seminar fee includes opening lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.  These fees do not cover expenses for transportation and additional meals.  Seminar housing is available for an additional cost.

You must have all seminar fees paid by Friday, October 12, 2012.

Housing Costs (optional)

PLEN has negotiated a discount rate with the Carlyle Suites Hotel, located in the Dupont Circle area of Washington, DC. Please do not contact the hotel to make a reservation; PLEN will make the reservation for you.

Double Room: $300 (per person) (Check in: Thursday, Nov. 8; Check out: Sunday, Nov. 11)

Triple Room: $230 (per person) (Check in: Thursday, Nov. 8; Check out: Sunday, Nov. 11)

Cancellation Policy

All students who cancel their registration by October 19, 2012 will receive a complete refund except for the $125 registration fee.

If a student needs to cancel after October 19, 2012 due to extenuating circumstances, refund arrangements will be made on a case-by-case basis.
