PLEN sponsors a need-based scholarship to cover the registration and seminar fees for one student currently enrolled in a college/university to attend the Women & Congress Seminar.

Students who apply for the scholarship can also apply to receive free airfare to and from the seminar, courtesy of Southwest Airlines. Recipients of the Southwest Airlines travel voucher will be awarded on a need-based basis. Students can apply for both the voucher and the program scholarship, but are not guaranteed that they will receive both. Please download the below application for further information.

Application Deadline:  Monday, February 18, 2013

Notification of Scholarship Status: Monday, February 25. You do not need to register for the seminar until you are notified of your scholarship status.

Women & Congress  Scholarship Application

All current students are welcome to apply, but undergraduate students who are currently receiving financial aid will be given top priority during the selection process.

You will receive a confirmation of the receipt of your application by February 20. If you have not received this confirmation, please call PLEN at 202 872 1585.

All Scholarship applicants will receive a notification regarding their status by Monday, February 25, prior to the registration deadline. You do not need to register for the seminar until you have received a notification from PLEN regarding your status. Students that receive funding from their schools in order to attend the Women & Congress do not qualify for additional funding from PLEN.
